Home :: Soap Annemarie’s All Natural Soap is created using only plant-derived oils and natural ingredients. There are no synthetic fragrances or artificial colorants. Only essential oils are used for scent, and their aromatherapy properties have many beneficial characteristics. The base oils most used in the soaps are as follows: Olive Oil: Since ancient times, people have recognized the benefits of olive oil as a beauty aid. In addition to being a natural moisturizer, it’s also rich in vitamin A, which promotes healthy hair and skin, and vitamin E, which protects against cell damage and slows the effects of aging. Palm Oil: Derived from a type of palm tree, palm oil is made from the pulp of the fruit. Once used extensively in the food industry, this oil produces a pleasant lather and is the animal rights advocate’s substitute for tallow in soap. Coconut Oil: Obtained from copra, the dried meat of a coconut, this oil is moisturizing, resists rancidity, and produces a fluffy lather. Shea Butter: A fatty extract from the seed of the Shea tree. The biological activity of this extract includes moisturizing and healing skin ailments. Unrefined Shea butter contains natural anti inflammatory agents and a minor sunscreen.
